Out of the ashes of long running NYC band Kreisor emerged MIRROR QUEEN. Under the Kreisor moniker, the band put 2 US tours and 4 European expeditions behind them, including tinnitus-inducing sojourns supporting UFO and Uli Jon Roth all over the Continent. Three albums were issued between 2001-2006.
Original members Kenny Kreisor (guitars/vocals) and Jeremy O'Brien (drums) have been joined by James Corallo (Zandelle) on bass/backing vocals and most recently, Morgan McDaniel on second guitar. Morgan saw live action as part of a California run in summer of 2016, and a 2017 US tour with The Atomic Bitchwax. He also contributed immediately and immensely “Verdigris”; two tracks bear his songwriting signature, and his dynamite playing is all over the album.
2022 brings the pandemic delayed new album "Inviolate"; many of the songs within have been incorporated into the live set. Together they transcend the sameness of much of today's stoner scene, blasting the audience by including songs with the volume and adding hooks to the timeless riffs.
Influenced by such 70’s legends as Hawkwind, Deep Purple, UFO, Blue Öyster Cult, Captain Beyond, the rockier sides of more recent outfits such as Motorpsycho and Swervedriver, as well as the best of the current heavy bands, they aspire towards psychedelic hard rock of the highest order.
