Now, the beloved animated series has its own soundtrack: on April 25, the Alarm EP will be released, bringing the magic of the show to life through five captivating songs. Blending live action with animation, Miss Bellyfoo introduces children worldwide to the joy of music and dance. The release of the EP will be accompanied by an international TV rollout, bringing the series to new markets.
Crafted by the renowned songwriting and production duo Patrick Salmy and Ricardo Munoz Repko (Zoe Wees, Michael Schulte, Adel Tawil, among others), the Alarm EP transcends traditional children’s music. These songs are catchy yet profound, playful yet deeply emotional—because real feelings resonate with audiences of all ages. At the heart of it all is the striking voice of Josephine Seehawer.
Lead single and title track 'Alarm' captures the emotional push and pull of closeness and distance, painting a vivid picture of inner turmoil: "It keeps me up all through the night / No I can't find some peace of mind / I hear it singing all the time / My alarm keeps on ringing." Through strong, relatable imagery, the song explores themes of self-confidence, emotional awareness and listening to one's own "alarm signals".
