Missing Image is a music project from American songwriter/producer Kirk Bentley. Missing Image blends modern indie / electronic with elements of 80's wave and 90's indie rock with hook-laden production. His newest record, "Instant Dimension," will be released in the late summer of 2021.
Bentley has been writing, recording and performing music since the mid-1990's as a multi-instrumentalist with a professional background in recording engineering.
Bentley was a lead songwriter and producer for Seattle favorites, The Cinematics. They released three acclaimed records and played with everyone from Harvey Danger to Death Cab for Cutie and The English Beat.
In the early 2000's, Bentley was a founding member of Pleasurecraft, a musical group dedicated to blending edgier guitar riffs with electro dance beats. The group found solid local success and national college radio play sharing the stage with luminaries such as OMD, CEX and Chromeo. When Pleasurecraft disbanded, Bentley pursued a solo career as Chadwick UK where he released three records and one EP until he took a break from music in 2015 to start a family.
Now he's back with Missing Image where he masterminding the entire operation from his studio in Seattle, WA. USA.
