Missy Fadel

Missy Fadel is a songwriter and recording artist to date, with five consecutive albums to her credit, and a sixth album underway. At the age of sixteen, Missy visited the Bryn Mawr Conservatory of Music and discovered she had five-octave vocal range. The conservatory suggested operatic training, and the notion of a contract versus a handful of lessons meant that Missy would have to pursue her dreams her way. At the age of nineteen, Missy knew she could be a singer, but she lacked the confidence to pursue the stage. Missy spent twenty-five years as a licensed therapist in mental health, specializing in the treatment of trauma, anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She raised two daughters and began to sing the full song arrangements she heard in her mind while cooking. When her youngest graduated high school in 2020, Missy called MorningStar Studios and began recording what would become her first album release "Like a Boss". Following this release, Missy would achieve the completion of four additional albums with producer Glenn Barrett at MorningStar, featuring a variety of genres, including Americana, blues, jazz, soul, swing and a pinch of reggae. The journey is just beginning for Missy, with the planned release of her sixth album late 2026 and a band to follow. Missy’s lyrics are deeply personal and tell the story of her life.
