Mitch 'n' Amy are a songwriting team who combined their musical efforts in 2000.
A multi instrumentalist, Mitch plays Guitar,Drums and Bass,as well as arranging vocals, and played all of the Instruments on his solo albums,"SHORELINE" ,"WANTED" "COOL", "GUITARS AND DRUMS", "ADDING IT UP",& "SURFIN" GUITARS,DRUMS,& BONGOS".. as well as many of the Instruments heard on the "Mitch'n'Amy" and "BEAVER ROAD" albums. He is also a much sought after session musician and independent Record Producer, and has produced albums By "The Rip Chords", Scot Arch of "Beatlemania Now" Kevin Roth, Beaver Road, and has served as backing musician on Guitar or Drums for Chuck Berry, The Dovells, The Vibrations, Billy J. Kramer, Kevin Roth, Donna Loren, Ron Dante, Andy Kim, Fran Smith JR., and many others.
Amy had, in her earlier school years, focused on her education in the areas of piano and voice/opera. She studied both in Siena, Italy and Graz, Austria where she also performed. Amy also performed with "The Philadelphia Choral Arts Society", a very prestigious honor. Her collaboration with Mitch started in 2000. Amy's voice is a powerful blend of Classical and Pop Music textures, which is displayed on her Solo CD, "BOX OF CRAYONS" . She is also an accomplished Flute player, music educator, and session musician, and can be heard on albums by "The Rip Chords" and "Beaver Road".
