Mitri Rice

Mitri or better known as Mitri Rice is an American Rapper with a ubiquitous musical range. He was born in the small town of Greenwood South Carolina. He moved to Georgia with his mother before the age of one. Raised on the Southside of Atlanta, Cleveland Ave, Stewart Ave, Sylvan Rd, and Perkerson Rd were his main stomping grounds. Scoo Woop from the pimps, jug and capping from the hustlers, and pushing work from the dealers colored his young eyes. After the imprisonment of his mother and being forced to relocate back to South Carolina with his extended family, he retaliated by succumbing to the streets. His life changed again when he was retained for drug charges. While serving close to a two-year sentence before the age of 18 a fellow inmate encouraged him to pursue a rap career after hearing his expressive flow. Mitri Rice moved back to the Southside of Atlanta with his mother soon after release. He joined a rap group and began doing open mics. He left the group to begin a solo career by age 20. By 21 Mitri had released 2 hit singles YOAH & OMG I'm Geeked Up, won music contests performed in several cities and streets, performed on the same stage as Playas Circle Young Ralph Trina Gucci Mane and Yung LA, and was featured on Coast to Coast mixtape's JGreen Money Talkz Showcase 57 along with Jim Jones Maino and many more. Later on Mitri was signed to Island Boy Entertainment and that's when he recorded his hit single Grillin featuring Waka Flocka Flame!
