Raised in the suburbs of Upland, CA
Young Mix The Take found his path in music when he joined choir as a junior in high school then sang through his way to graduation day, class of 2019. He went to Chaffey Community College and took Commercial Music to learn more about audio production and audio technology in late 2019. 2020 sparked a fire that made him want to create more and more everyday almost. 2021 song Alternative Girl (Sped Up + Reverb) was recorded after being rejected a collective who didn’t think he was a good enough recording artist. He later on got traction from a playlist he was put on by a good hearing ear who caught her attention in early January 2022. Alternative Girl (Sped Up + Reverb) made it to the official Sped Up playlist made by Spotify in the summer of 2022 amassing a larger audience 50k+ of monthly listeners! July 2022 he released his EP “Mix The Take 444” inspired by the hyper trap/cloud era.
2023 Mix The Take had a rough process of the year trying to find himself recording and releasing good quality to top his song Alternative Girl (Sped Up + Reverb) so he went down a deep rabbit hole of finding what he truly believes in and what he loves!
2024 he is coming harder than ever with his music and making sure he will not be a “One Hit Wonder”.
