<a href="spotify:artist:4zmecG3hdJlrDBXDx5s05M" data-name="Mnaya">Mnaya</a> is an Urban, Versatile Kenyan Artist, born and raised in Eastlands Nairobi, Kenya.
He identifies with a unique, urban Kenyan Melodic sound, the ‘G-vibe’, which he and fellow colleagues created at <a href="spotify:artist:1Tud1TXjZ9kJKzebpZLcpW" data-name="Gstr Music">Gstr Music</a>
As a young 5 year old, he always had love for music.
When he turned 6, he lost his mother through illness and his father sent him to live with extended family at his grandmother's house.
This had an influence on him as he lived with most of his extended family who listened to different genres of music. This grew his interest and love for music even further.

In high school he was part of Music and Drama clubs, while also being active in sports. His focus was mostly on Music and he performed in Solo and Choral verses during 'The Kenya National Music Festivals’, which he took part of throughout the 4 years of high school.
He later joined college pursuing a degree in IT but later dropped out to pursue music.
