After breaking into the underground Neo-Perreo scene in 2016 with dark, slowed down, Reggaeton remixes, acclaimed mixtape <a href="spotify:album:5pZGzL0nc5mkIJO9csYTtN" data-name="Her Note">Her Note</a>, influencing the sound and following up with <a href="spotify:album:3jxgfMnAH2mUENW341xAk2" data-name="Angelito">Angelito</a> in 2018, a more refined and curated set of remixes, alongside some summery, but still brooding set of singles in 2019 like <a href="spotify:album:66NugyTn9zWSsqumlb5gYd" data-name="Diva Virtual">Diva Virtual</a> and <a href="spotify:album:1ZjTzl3QETZgN9u2MjRngm" data-name="Loca">Loca</a>, MNTJY started focusing more on producing for other artists and on his blossoming DJ carreer in San José, Costa Rica.
