Mobi Mawla is a Toronto-based, Florida-bred Hip Hop artist whose passion began on the lunch table at his Bradenton middle school and quickly engulfed every facet of his life as he decided to fully pursue his musical dreams.
After moving back to Toronto to be with his family, Mobi continued writing and recording songs on his own. Through a consistent output of uploads, he went on to performing on MuchMusic and various Canadian music festivals. In 2018, Mobi released his debut EP “Freedom”. The uplifting-upbeat introduction lead its way on Ebro Darden’s Beats1 program, prominent Spotify-curated playlist Northern Bars and heard on Toronto’s largest Hip Hop radio station, FLOW 93-5.
Riding the wave of his recent single “Southwest”, Mobi looks to take charge with his stylistically dynamic sound influenced by his immigrant roots, big city experiences and signature brand of powerful energy.
