Mobius & Bless are a Brooklyn-based production duo consisting of producer/saxophonist Troy “Mobius” Simms [Brooklyn Gypsies; Subatomic Sound System & Lee "Scratch" Perry] and producer J.Bless [Seasunz + J.Bless; Earth Amplified]. They're kicking off 2020 with a series of releases featuring a collection of talented vocalists across several genres that showcase their diverse range of production styles.
Their debut release "Way Higher" features the Nairobi/LA-based vocalist Loa Myst [Cosmic Homies: O.N.E], with hypnotic layers of vocals soaring over a spacious synth and sax-laced landscape. "Way Higher" (along with b-side "Light & Shadow") dropped in January and has already received spins on KCRW in Los Angeles, with a video and remixes on deck.
Upcoming releases from Mobius & Bless include a collaboration with acclaimed reggae artist Jahdan Blakkamoore, a hip hop anthem featuring AshEl Seasunz and Killah Priest of the Wu-Tang family, and two Spanish-language genre mashups featuring the Brooklyn Gypsies singer Carmen Estevez Calero.
