Moby Stick is a reggae band from Salzburg Austria. Founded by singer Raphael Schwarzacher (aka Ruff I) and drummer Thomas Mantl (aka Windshadow) back in 2005, the band is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2020. The band uses various music styles like roots reggae, dub and soul to create their very own blend and flavour. Moby Stick is known for their passionate and stirring live performances, representing their own songs as well as classics from the golden age of reggae music. A unique voice combined with a distinguishable rhythm section have been proved a recipe to take the listener on a musical journey but it’s the live shows which make the difference and what let Moby Stick stand out. These crowd moving solo shows have been a reason why this band has already shared the stage with reggae’s big names like Lee “Scratch” Perry, Morgan Heritage, Dub-Pistols and many more. They also performed live shows together with artists like Solo Banton and Rebellion the Recaller.
