Acoustic pop blends into rocky spheric and forlorn layers when listening to German-born singer/songwriter <a href="spotify:artist:6ctrt27r8hFsm0nbxmCSlg" data-name="MOCHI">MOCHI</a>. Her debut EP <a href="spotify:track:3Ua9eEc6b0p5POyRuidYbY" data-name="Nocturnal">Nocturnal</a> was released in January of 2023 which was her first solo project following a long career of collaborative work. The Cyprus-based trained guitarist combines her instrument of choice with tones of earth and a crystal-clear voice.

Her sounds are rooted in a love for dark electro pop and influenced by a variety of artists ranging from the fast paced and loud vocals of <a href="spotify:artist:1moxjboGR7GNWYIMWsRjgG" data-name="Florence &#43; The Machine">Florence &#43; The Machine</a> to the ethereal moods of <a href="spotify:artist:7E3BRXV9ZbCt5lQTCXMTia" data-name="Ólafur Arnalds">Ólafur Arnalds</a>.

With a dozen new songs in the pipeline <a href="spotify:artist:6ctrt27r8hFsm0nbxmCSlg" data-name="MOCHI">MOCHI</a> released her newest singles <a href="spotify:album:7bIsip0uT41gufgy5NA5C7" data-name="Liar">Liar</a> in January and <a href="spotify:album:1rYT7wDJQD1eJALU4Bpu94" data-name="Cinematic Strangers">Cinematic Strangers</a> in December 2024 which were both recorded in her home studio in Cyprus where she’s now mainly based.
