Modern Day Magic is a Maine born and raised artist whose goal in music making is to bring awareness to social issues, and providing representation for the LGBTQIA+ community. They first started playing guitar at the age of 9, and wrote their first song in 2017. For the most part, they are self taught. They have taken digital music classes, and are extremely familiar with digital music software. My music is my therapy. It allows me to express myself and my creativity. While I will have to stop recording for a while as I start my life in the Army, I will continue music whenever I can.
I owe a huge thanks to my middle school music teacher, Mrs. Weinstein for helping me grow my love of music and teaching all of us from a young age to love who we are and to accept one another. I definitely would not be where I am without her.
I also owe a huge thanks to Mrs. Buzy and Dr. Richmond for helping me throughout my creative process.
And to my family, the friends I have made along the way that I will likely never see again, thank you for supporting me.
