MODERN SANITARIUM plays heavy music that lies on the border between classic Thrash bands such as Sodom, Metallica and Megadeth and Sludge Metal bands like Acid Bath, Buzz-Oven and Crowbar.
While keeping Thrash Metal's technical, thrashing guitar solos, skank beats and some of the visuals and mixing it with the subliminally relevant lyrics and darker sounds from Sludge Metal, MODERN SANITARIUM creates effortless song structures that stick out.
Originating from the 'golden city' of Schwabach, near Nuremberg, Germany, they bridge the gap between the two genres, keeping the best of both worlds.
