A staple of the Colorado music scene, Modern Suspects has frequented venues such as the Gothic Theater, Bluebird Theater, Black Sheep, as well as 1st Bank Center and Moby Arena. Their songs have received airplay on Colorado stations such as X103.9, 93.3 KTCL, and 94.3 KMAX, among others. They have shared stages with Slenderbodies, Miike Snow, Bob Moses, Misterwives, Joywave, and Blondie. Singles “Just Watch Me,” “Hold Me,” and “Terrified” have been featured on MTV, TV Land, and most recently on Netflix’s “Love is Blind” Season 2.
In late 2021, the band released their first EP in four years, titled “Designer Life.” Punctuated by their latest earwork dalliance, “California,” the EP swoons from the whimsical, to the tragic, to the nostalgic with a dash of sexiness thrown in for good measure.
