Modified Man’s sound straddles decades.
By surrounding themselves in tapes, synths, microphones and reverb boxes, they’ve sought not to wallow in nostalgia, but to grab some physical, real energy from solid objects, each with their own personalities, making a declaration about the future. One of physical expression in a digital era.

Modified Man is Adam Scrimshire and Dave Koor, co-founders of the Albert's Favourites record label alongside fellow producer Jonny Drop.

Adam Scrimshire has also co-run the respected London imprint Wah Wah 45s for the last 10 years. He has produced 3 albums for Wah Wah 45s, collaborating with artists including Heidi Vogel (Cinematic Orchestra), Matthew Halsall, Stac and Daudi Matsiko. He is also known for several collections of funk and soul re-edits which bolster a solid reputation as a DJ.

Dave Koor is a prolific keys player and producer. As well as playing with his jazz-funk project The Expansions and producing as Deoke, Dave plays with Wu-Lu, Andrew Ashong, Gizelle Smith, Connie Constance and Hector Plimmer.

Modified Man has existed for 4 years, an experimental space that grew into something more permanent, as well as a catalyst for the creation of Albert's Favourites.

In that time, the duo have delivered two, six-track EPs, performed live and DJed around London, appeared on Boiler Room for an epic three-hour live/DJ set, produced remixes for Amp Fiddler, Dele Sosimi, Hector Plimmer, Makadem & Behr, On The Corner and Beating Heart.
