Mofabdi

A concept created in 2021-2022 which lived on to be a real thing back in early 2023. Created by the friends from the same school in Stockholm, Sweden - Morgan, Emil, Viktor, Pelle, Anton and Tom. Originating in a school rehearsal room, they covered mostly "Queen”.

One day at the rehearsal, Tom randomly said, "We should call this Mofabdi." That statement turned out to be one of the most important statements of all time. Chapter one of Mofabdi had started. The writing process began and songs were made. None of which are released, yet.

The deeper meaning of Mofabdi was brewing like julmust. The idea of using alter-egos emerged. All Mofabdi members got their own alter-ego and they began writing lore for their new characters.

One day in early 2023, Morgan and Viktor decided that they were going to make a debut for Mofabdi - My sons life trauma. Produced only using GarageBand. It turned out completely different from what the band was playing, but it set the tone for Mofabdi's unique and experimental sound.

Later on in summer 2023, the work for the second album was in the making. The album, originally named "Groovy", was intended to be a collection of low produced beats and b-sides from their previous work. On vacation, Morgan started working on a few songs which could have been used for the upcoming album. One stood out in particular - a song today known as "The Finale". A song produced only using GarageBand. The rest of the album was created the following months at home.
