Mohit Salgaonkar is a poet and singer based in Mumbai. He is the creator of a modern reimagination of ghazals (a popular poetry form) called the Un-Ghazals, which are ghazals rendered in unconventional music genres. His song Na Jeene Se Na Marne Se is the first ever metal ghazal. He operates a homegrown music label called Tugstrings.
