Mohlavyr

Striking lyrics and dramatic piano pop.
Mohlavyr is the Swedish multi-artist with a clear and silvery voice. Complex subjects explored with gravity and playfulness. She sings of shrunken dreams, relationships as well as sweet and painful memories.

In early 2025 Mohlavyr released her fifth album ”Alltidheten” – a concept album with stage poet Michael Horvath about loneliness, explored through songs and spoken word.

With over 15 years on stage, Mohlavyr has been awarded for her creative thoughtful songwriting (winner of the ”Millencolin Music Prize” and the grant ”Jeremiasstipendiet”) and experimental ways to express and combine art forms. Amongst her many projects, ”Kära Kropp” is the most publicly known. It is an album and a photo exhibition about body issues where people share their history answering the question: "No one is born with body issues, so what happened?" The project has toured many galleries and schools across Sweden.

Under 2025 har hon släppt två album: Alltidheten – ett koncept om ensamhet där Mohlavyrs låtar varvas med spokenword från poeten Michael Horvath. Solägget – nyskriven musik till Elsa Beskows saga, i samarbete med artisten Dream Radio och danskompaniet Gala Dance Bergslagen.
