Molly Haze is a French bilingual singer and songwriter. Her name was inspired by two famous fictional characters : Molly Bloom from James Joyce's Ulysses and Dolores Haze in Nabokov's Lolita. She started writing her poetic, enigmatic and intimate songs at a young age under the influence of English and American artists such as Neil Young, Marianne Faithfull, Rickie Lee Jones and Stevie Wonder. She then decided to start learning the guitar and developed her songwriting. Her compositions stand at the crossroads of alternative folk music, blues, jazz and soul. Her first single, "I Never Wanted", was released in June 2023 and her second single « Fiction » in November 2023.
