Mona et Toi

Mona et Toi is the artist project of Barcelona-based duo, Alison Manicourt (French) and Shervin Hejazi (British-Iranian). Known primarily for their work for moving images, the duo have composed for fashion houses such as Lanvin, Adidas, Fiorucci, Rubearth, Vogue, and films such as Skin of Water (Raindance Film Festival), Monstruo de Agua (NOWNESS). Mona et Toi is their independent expression as recording artists.

Since their debut release "When You Hold Me Tight" in 2021, their music has been featured by Vein Magazine, Perfect Magazine, Disco Naïveté, La Vague Parallele, Tsugi Radio. Through their self-made music videos, the duo have been twice-nominated for the New Generation Award at Berlin Commercial & Fashion Film Festival, and 'Best Original Song' at Lonely Wolf International Film Festival for their Franco-Spanish single 'PIENSO EN TI'.

After 4 singles of self-exploration, the duo took time in 2024 to ask themselves how they would sound like when they stop wondering “what should we sound like?”. Peeling through the anxious layers of influence from outside and within, Mona et Toi released 2 further singles “Listen To My Voice” and “I Feel My Love”, showcasing a unique blend of alt-rock and avant-pop, and window into their 2026 debut album.
