moneymontana is an underground soundcloud artist originally from Krasnoyarsk, now based in Saint Petersburg. He started making music in 2021 at the age of 15 and has been building a unique legacy ever since. Now he continues to break rules and push boundaries with a raw, genre-blending sound.
His main styles include trap, plug, dark plug, glo, trans hip-hop, witch house, memphis rap, cloud rap, and beyond. What makes his sound stand out is the way he flips the script — while most Russian rappers rap in Russian with English ad-libs, moneymontana raps in English with Russian words mixed in, making him the first in Russia to approach rap this way.
