Monique Hellenberg

Award-Winning Singer & Lecturer in Jazz & Contemporary Voice (Nelson Mandela University), Monique Hellenberg is a seasoned South African vocalist with a versatile yet very distinctive
sound. The freshness of her crystal-clear voice creates an atmosphere that can soften the most brittle heart and fill anyone’s soul with a sense of well-being and wonderment.

Monique effortlessly brings old school sensibilities and depth to her new age popular music. How does she do this? Well, her three-octave vocal range, incredible command and three-dimensional sound doesn’t hurt.

Much of her musical abilities come from her family, in which parents and siblings alike, are all proficient singers and instrumentalists. However, on a much deeper level: Monique is a true and courageous artist who mirrors the vast world in which she lives through a musical lens of empathy, understanding and love.

Her Heavenly voice is perhaps best-recognised in the SA Hit Song that went Platinum, "This Is How It Goes" (Goldfish) and her performances in "The Voice SA 2017".
