Brazilian-born singer-songwriter Monique Messier blends soul-baring vocals with vulnerable storytelling. Her writing style creates a sound that sits somewhere between soft pop and acoustic rock. Rooted in a musical family and shaped by the emotional depth of Brazilian genres, Monique’s music explores the edges of growing up, love, and identity.After opening for Canadian country artist Andrew Hyatt and winning Algonquin’s Got Talent in 2025, Monique continues her momentum with a deeply personal two-part headliner series this summer and fall in Ottawa.
