Monitor Collective is one of the most intriguing acts in Colombia's alternative music sphere. Since their debut album "Monitor" in 2016, producer Mauricio García (Latin Grammy winner) and Los Angeles-based musician/producer Camilo Sánchez, have been crafting unique and innovative soundscapes. Their work has being named among the year's best albums and featuring on the soundtrack of Netflix's series "Crime Diaries: Night Out."

Their second album, "Universal," recorded between Los Angeles and Bogotá, marks a significant evolution for the collective. Embracing a more electronic sound while maintaining their signature eclecticism, this nature and tribal-inspired album utilizes samples and synthesizers to create a mesmerizing musical journey. It features collaborations with artists such as Walt Anderson (Kool & The Gang), Mireya (Flor de Toloache), and Frank Lukas (Motherflowers).

Renowned for their electrifying live performances, Monitor Collective combines cutting-edge technology with music, collaborating with visual artist Giancarlo Orsi to enhance the live experience. After touring the United States and Colombia, the collective is looking ahead to 2026 gearing up for the release of their third album. Anticipation builds with the release of singles like "INTI," "ALLQA," and "YUIITSU," played at KCRW radio, hinting at another groundbreaking chapter for the collective.
