A vague reflection in a broken mirror.
By bringing a mix of grunge, stoner, post rock, sludge, noise, shoegaze and math rock monkey juice succeed to bring you back to the places in your head you never want to go again.
What you see is what you get:from a tight rhytm section with a bassplayer giving his al land a drummer who squizes out every bit of frustration onto his drumset, to a guitarist trying to get every sound possible out of his guitar and a singer who scream into your face until the message is clear.
Monkey juice is.
Grunge, stoner, noise, shoegaze, sludge, mathrock,… call it what you want because you can’t really put a label on Monkey Juice. It’s that what makes them one of the most interesting bands of the moment. A tight rhythm section, virtuous but carrying and bombastic guitarvoilence and an interaction between grainy yelling and a tonefull melody make the picture complete. They give a 100% everytime even if they have to pass out for that.
