Monogram X

Monogram X is a musical duet, formed in Athens, Greece by member musicians Josephine Makris and George Simatos.
Their debut album, 'In The Right Place', consists of 9 original songs, all in-studio conceived, composed, performed and recorded.

Josephine is a Fine Arts graduate from University of Western Macedonia, Greece with a concentration in painting and digital media, and a student at JazzArt Conservatory.
She designed the complete album artwork of 'In The Right Place' and has participated in well-renowned art exhibitions, including Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art.

George is a professional producer, sound engineer and multi-instrumentalist.
He studied music production & sound engineering at ICMP London and has a degree in Music Theory and Harmony.
As a musician, he has worked with some of the most prominent local artists, some of which he has even composed songs for.
George has also worked as an executive producer, for almost a decade, at record label 'Virgin Music', as well as a freelancer.

Together, they compose, perform and record original songs, with influences leaning towards indie pop, alternative, soul and blues.
