Monolith Rex was conjured up on October of 2024. Life changing circumstances forced the one man project to direct his energies into a more constructive artistic outlet. Since the project was a deeply personal one, it was imperative for Monolith Rex to take over all the musical compositions, instrumentation and lyrical content. The musical influences range from Doom Metal, Black Metal, Death Metal and all things Metal. The passion for Metal music and the creation of music is the driving force of this endeavor.
The overall lyrical theme is based on the trials and tribulations of the human condition. It's about grief, loss, pain, solitude and regret. A theme everyone knows well… but it is not about self pity. It is about catharsis and redemption.
