Monolith (Louay Zoghaib) is a Techno/Ambient artist who combines contemporary electronic techniques
with traditional music practices. Having a formal background in audio engineering, sound design and classical composition, Louay uses his experiences to create
a unique tapestry of sonic textures that appeals both, on and off the dancefloor. This is achieved through Monolith’s
improvisational live approach with modular synthesizers and other electronic instrumentation. Influenced by the
melodic sound of early Techno, through to Acid Techno and minimal electronica, Monolith continually pursues new
ways technology and creativity can collide to evolve his performances, sound and music. Monolith is a road trip
fuelled by the romanticism of Dub Techno, the brittle sparks of minimal electronica and greased with Detroit Techno’s futuristic and melodic anatomy.
