With the release of the 7 track “HOWL” E.P. on October 31st 2017 (Halloween of course) Monsters On The Horizon unleashed what they had been brewing for over a year. Mystery surrounds the group, comprised of The R.O.A.R., BLKZEN, Lone Wolf and Kevin aka Baby Head, for good reason. Choosing to keep their identities concealed in a time of social media over exposure, was a conscious decision. Creating an alternative lane for Art x Music x Connection to exist in has been the ethos from Day 1.

The sounds that emanate from HOWL and M.OT.H.R.A. (A remix E.P. released April Friday the 13th) blends haunted cinematic Trip-Hop Vibes with Urban and Rock vocal deliveries. The addition of LIVE DRUMS bring power to the proceedings. The dual assault of male/female vocals brings a multi-perspective lyrical slant to each track. Wether it’s the outrunning of your past demons in “To My Grave” or the submission of self to a deeper calling in “Howl” BLKZEN and Lone Wolf present not just differing vocal styles, but insights. While BLKZEN moves from rapid fire hip-hop rap, to smooth auto-tuned chants, Lone Wolf brings her powerhouse delivery to every track. “Gideon” is a stand out, and fan favorite where she gets to flex her vocal prowess.
