MONSTROSITY, formed in August 1990, burst onto the scene with their explosive demo, Horror Infinity. The band soon recorded their debut album, Imperial Doom, for Nuclear Blast. Later, Monstrosity signed with Conquest Music and released Millennium in 1996. By 1999, they had established themselves as an international act, touring with bands like Vader, Dimmu Borgir, and Pestilence. That year, they recorded In Dark Purity, a landmark in death metal history. In 2004, the band released the monumental Rise to Power, with Conquest Music licensing the album to Metal Blade Records in Europe and the UK. Monstrosity solidified their global reputation by performing in Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and at the Rock al Parque Festival in Bogotá, Colombia, before 80,000 fans. In 2007, they returned to Morrisound Studios to create Spiritual Apocalypse. More touring followed, including tours with Marduk and Vital Remains. For their 2018 album, The Passage of Existence, drummer Lee Harrison worked at Audiohammer Studios with veteran producer Jason Suecof. Producer Mark Lewis (Megadeth) mixed the album, which Conquest Music licensed worldwide to Metal Blade Records. The band has completed the follow-up to The Passage of Existence, with an early 2026 release expected. Expect more updates soon!
