Whether you know him as Swagman, SwagmanX or Montana Rugga Mackavelli, Bones (yeah that’s how he’s referred to by Family & close friends) has been making his bones on the NYC underground hip hop scene for nearly a Decade. His inspiration comes from his Pops, Moms & peers. Growing up in The Stuy also had a huge influence in developing the Swaggerific icon that we see today. His love for the arts & his fans provide him with the inspiration to continuously create what he refers to as "Swag Music"! As his popularity grows so does the list of venues he's performed at (Afropunk, Webster Hall, Terminal 5, Blue Note Cafe, Chelsea Music Hall, Knockdown Center, Knitting Factory, Trans Pecos & Elsewhere to name a few). A little known secret about Swagman that also serves as a testament to his range of talent is that he used to model prior to immersing himself into his music. You may still be able to find photos of him in Vogue, Paper Magazine, 411 Magazine or the Oak NYC campaign. When asked to describe his music he says, "My music is an experience that is a Soul immersing lucid fantasy. It's a culmination of emotions & energy. I want people to know that pain is temporary but Swag is Forever".
