"Monumental Discharge is a new player in the ever so growing bands who want to go heavy as fuck and mix it up with brutal death metal and slam. Monumental Discharge got my attention not only due to the awesome album cover and funny theme they got going on but also due to the members behind the band. Reece Deeter is the vocalist of Vale of Pnath, a band I follow very closely and if you’ve followed my blog for a while you will know that their latest album Accursed was one of my favorite albums of 2019 (3rd place), and got one of my very few 5/5 ratings. Andrew Morris records session drums for several technical death metal bands, while the duo Ibrahim Jiménez and Kevin Berstler also play in several other bands. So here is a wide range of influences by talented musicians in this group to make something out of this new band from the very start. Hell there are a lot of pure copycats, who do generic music and are bad to average bands out there but I had my hopes on a band that’s literally all about shit would potentially turn a turd into gold." - The Metal Gamer, Sept. 8, 2020.
"These 'fecal slam' merchants do exactly what it says on the shit-smeared tin. From the artwork to 'Primordial Droppings'' guttural punch, it's a debut EP that ticks all the boxes with grim satisfaction." - Metal Hammer, Aug. 20, 2020.
