MOOCH is a psychedelic trip that melts down the tree of blues- rooted hard rock music. The Montreal trio is composed of three lead vocalists and multi-instrumentalists Ben Cornel, Julian Iac, and Alex Segreti. For the old school lovers of The Doors, to the modern day fans of Clutch and Queens of the Stone Age, MOOCH is the latest iteration of rock, dripping in psychedelia.
MOOCH has shared the stage with acts like Yawning Man, Truckfighters, 1000 MODS, Blackwater Holylight, We Are the Asteroid, Broken Social Scene and Serena Ryder. Their debut LP HOUNDS (2020) was recorded in the California desert and produced by Brant Bjork (Kyuss, Fu Manchu), Bubba Dupree (Void, 3rd Secret), and Joe Segreti (SEGPOP Studio).
‘KIN’ is MOOCH’s 2025 LP release. The 8-song (35minute) LP is characterised as heavy rock, with some progressive elements sprinkled in. ‘KIN’ was produced and recorded by MOOCH in their home studio (Icebox Studio) and stands as a self-portrait of the band’s sound.
