Musician Ben Copland decided to return to his Electronica and Indie Roots, which included working with and observing in the studio some of Electronica music"s finest, including Faithless, and 4-hero, and develop his own band project, doing music that his heart was always in.

Following a spell as a Published Songwriter-Producer with Universal and Global Talent group/Sony ATV, during which time Ben's songs were used by many well known artists, including Soul singer Beverley Knight, and Liberty X, and having achieved successes in America where he became a Platinum selling songwriter with songs on two US top 10 albums, selling over 1.5 Million records in the process.

Live,Mooli now uses a revolving door of different featured singers, and Ben Copland is joined by drummer Paul Davis ( Then Jericho) Steve Harris ( Gary Numan ) and bassist Steve Davis

Mooli brought out new release ' Chillogy' in February 2020, an instrumental electronic track, and vocal and instrumental tracks are planned for 2020.

February 24th sees the release of ' Don't mention me' , in many ways a retro to Mooli's roots , but also marks the first time that Ben has stepped forward to lend his unique lead vocals to a released track.
