Moonday - "As diverse as Life" - We are four musicians that have been playing music almost all our lives.
Two guitarists/vocalists/composers, a bassist, and a drummer. We play own compositions. And as something new 2026 - we start play other people’s music - covers play in a MoonDay version - a tribute to bands that inspired us.

Our music is a mixture of Rock, Hard Rock, ProgRock, Blues, Soul, Funk etc. Actually, we don’t really have a genre. We fool around. Some songs have screaming feed backed distorted guitars - others are pure acoustic. Some lyrics are short and simple - some are long and complicated philosophical. Some songs short - some long (between 1:30 and 8:00 minutes).

We are beyond the stigma of genre, and play anything, as long as it rocks.

The band was established in 1982 by Henrik, Flemming, Keld & Peter.
Peter committed suicide in 2011. Sad - we made a song about it - to understand - to heal.
In August 2012, another Peter joined the band.
The band was named "Moonday" in 2014.
From 2018, all music is distributed on Spotify, iTunes and many other streaming services.
