MOONFACE

Tears of sadness. Tears of laughter. Tears of “I’m still not sure what’s happening”. All too common, tear-based-feelings one may experience when subjected to the world of MOONFACE.

Shrouded in leather masks (origins and birth years unknown), MOONFACE is the culmination of life experience between two vagabonds. One an atheist, the other a monk, the members of MF emit a natural chemistry that creates equal parts balance and tension. You cry. You laugh. You question your very existence. That is the essence of MOONFACE.

First forged off the coast of Washington state on the solitary Isle of Orcas, the two founding members of MOONFACE first crossed paths untangling the lines of (their) crab pots which were placed far too close to one another. Some say the tides brought them together; others say it was an act of God. Regardless of possible divine intervention, their music speaks for itself with a timeless nod to 60’s folk, creating an intrinsic place in all of our minds through storytelling and melodic instrumental pieces. Often described as a contemporary Everly Brothers meets Simon & Garfunkel, the musical stylings of MOONFACE will appease both the suppressed hearts of older generations and the bright eyed youth of today.
