Mordi’s story began in middle school, when Deniz Demirbaş and Emre Durgun would skip class just to make noise in the studio. That early partnership eventually found its final form with the addition of Yasin Taş in the years that followed. Hovering between post-punk, grunge and noise rock, Mordi twists catchy, radio-friendly melodies into something mechanical and abrasive, almost in rebellion against their own hooks. What emerges is a sonically dense and emotionally charged journey that lingers.
