Moreau is a band from Gränna, Sweden. The group consists of lead singer and guitarist Theo Moreau, his father Erik Moreau on banjo and guitar and his uncle Gustav Moreau on guitar. They play original music, influenced by americana, bluegrass and country music.
The Moreau family has been a key part of organizing the Grenna Bluegrass Festival for about 15 years. The band first gained wider recognition through their appearance on the Swedish TV show Bröderna Noréns underbara resa (The Norén Brothers’ Wonderful Journey), where they were noted for their musicianship.
Following their television debut, Moreau has performed alongside Swedish artist Viktor Norén on multiple occasions, including at venues like Nalen in Stockholm. They also took part in a tribute concert for Swedish rock artist Pugh Rogefeldt at Cirkus.
In the fall of 2023, Moreau released their first single, These Days, produced by Viktor Norén. This was followed by the single Peace Song in 2024, further establishing their presence in the Swedish music scene.
