Morgans

The Morgans is a Spanish band based in Ponferrada (León). Its sound goes from indie rock to pop-rock. It was set in 2011 by brothers Miguel (lead singer and acoustic guitar) and Elías Rivas (backing vocals and guitars). From the very first day, the band has never stopped growing, always moving ahead and taking their show to different parts of Spain reaching the figure of 200 appearances. <br><br>In 2012 the band released their first demo 'Robber of Souls' which reached the top 10 of Best Demos in Mondo Sonoro Castilla y León.<br><br>In 2015 they released their first EP called 'The Island'. Six tracks recorded in Estudios Reno (Madrid) and produced by Rams & Martí Producciones. It was mixed by Luca Petricca from Estudios Reno, winner of several awards for producing indie bands. 'The Island' was mastered by Mario G.Alberni from Kadifornia Mastering (Cádiz). The EP is released in October 2015 and becomes number 6 on the list of Best Ep's of Castilla y León in 2015 in Mondo Sonoro. <br><br>In early 2017 the band teams up with Carlos Hernández (Leiva, Pereza, Los Planetas, Viva Suecia) to work on the new eleven-tracked album (Like a Queen). It is recorded in October 2017 and mixed by Paco Loco in his studio (Paco Loco Studio, El Puerto de Santamaría) and mastered by Kadifornia Mastering. <br><br>In the current days, the band is working on ways to release Like a Queen (2018).
