"MORPHINA DO BRASIL"
Morphina is a Brazilian underground band in the Mogi das Cruzes Heavy Metal scene.
Currently consisting of four members:
•Jota (Lead Guitars)
•De Oliveira (Bass Guitars)
•PeDrogas (Drums)
•Vitão (Vocals)
Morphina incorporates its main musical influences inside and outside metal. Among them we can list Seputura, Rush, Death, Black Sabbath,Korn and Dream Theater... and even traditional Brazilian styles such as Bossa Nova and Samba de Roda, mainly influencing the percussive aspect of the songs.
Starting its journey in mid-November 2020, Morphina went through several changes in its lineup, including a brief visit from bassist Gabriel Pereira from the band Kobra, and other visits from great friends who left their legacy in the songs composed on the first album.
