Mortal Factor

„Don’t worry, we just want to play ...“
The Swiss metal machine Mortal Factor started as a five man unit in
April 2003 and has since played over 130 live shows all over Europe.
Over time the band streamlined into a powerful trio: René on guitars,
Dave on bass and lead vocals and Spiga pounding the drums. Starting
out as pure thrash metal maniacs, the band’s style has evolved into a
groovy, ass-kicking noise, simply metal.
The first official release was put out in 2006 as a 3-song promo CD
including 2 live videos. In 2009 Mortal Factor went on a European tour
with bands Vendetta and Shadow’s Far. Later that same year, a split CD
was released together with the Brazilian band Hicsos, offering a taste of
metal from two very different cultures. In 2014 the first full-length
album called „no lessons need learning“ was released, receiving many
positive reviews. In 2018 the band released their EP “five cc of pure…”
containing 5 tracks and produced 2 videos for the songs “Shy hell” and
“Blind warrior”.
September 2021: The “Devil and his dog” EP with 3 brand new songs
was unleashed. Like on past releases the band recorded drum and bass
live in the studio. V.O. Pulver (Gurd, Poltergeist) perfectly captured the
bands essence and raw sound at his Little Creek studio.
