Singersongwriter-folk and acoustic pop rock that swings you and grabs you in the feels. This is the music of Morten Vestergaard.
He was born to a musical family in Western Denmark. He's been writing music since his teenage years, working his way from rock and blues, through traditional folk music and into his own sound, inspired by contemporary folk-artists like Laura Marling, Olivia Chaney, Jeff Buckley, Noah Gundersen and John Smith. Morten and his band released the acclaimed EP "One Moment" in December 2019. Bands of Tomorrow proclaimed it as one of December's most important releases, and described it as "a warm and fresh singer-songwriter EP". 2022 saw the release of Ten Feet Of Sand, a 5 song EP that was recommended by Karrierekanonen (a Danish agency for promotion of upcoming artists).
Three new EP's, from Morten and his band, are in the works for 2023.
