Sam Mosley, is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, writer, poet, and lyricist from Ohio. When Sam was 14 years old, he traded a brown Abercrombie & Fitch hoody for his first Fender acoustic guitar. He taught himself how to play and has been playing ever since. Freshman year of high school he formed his first band with Shane Maus and Lyle Reed. They were a nameless basement band, that blew apart as quickly as they fused together. Carlos Santos is the active producer; mixing and mastering Mosley Around music. “I consider Carlos a member of Mosley Around. He puts up with my ass for starters, and he also plays a major role in the final development of my songs throughout the recording process.”

Mosley Arounds sound is somewhat stuck in the 90’s, with facades of punk, emo, rock, and folk. Their influences range from classic 60’s and 70’s bands like The Doors, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, etc. "I’m heavily influenced by Modest Mouse, Blink 182, and Nirvana. All of these bands and many more really shaped our sound and how we play today.”
