Moteka

Moteka is french producer Pierre Delort’s latest project. With over fifteen years of experience in the electronic music scene and after touring festivals and clubs around the world with his partner Rémy Maurin under the psytrance alias <a href="spotify:artist:3hZekxAmu89BU9hKxzPj1X" data-name="Principles Of Flight">Principles Of Flight</a>, Pierre teams up once again with Rémy in the late 2000s to start a new techno collaboration. They are rapidly spotted by french label Skryptöm where they sign two EPs : Skryptöm 09 &amp; 14 under the name Pierre Delort &amp; Rémy Maurin. During 3 years, their transition from psytrance to techno occurs with success and personality, progressively evolving to a more modern sound, both grittier and refined with hints of melancholy.
In 2013, Pierre moves to Marseille, where he starts the Moteka project. While Principles of Flight was a mixture of psytrance and goa with powerful techno rhythms and phantasmagoric cinematographic ambiences, Moteka veers towards an assumed minimalism and restraint, inspired by the classic english techno scene such as Surgeon or Planetary Assault Systems. Now a solo project and with his new sonic direction, Moteka meets once again the french label Skryptom and becomes one of its leading act, with a dark, percussive, hypnotic techno and perfectly mastered production skills.
