Mother Inquisition

Mother Inquisition is a Hard Rock band from Lévis, Quebec. Two longtime friends, Samuel Grenier and Sasha Joubert-Chabot, reconnected after a few years with plans to create a band. The fortuitous encounter of Steve Mathieu and his son, Toby Caron-Mathieu, took place a few weeks later in a bar in Lévis. The first rehearsal in June 2019 revealed that there was already a natural chemistry between the members of the group! It was at this initial rehearsal that they composed «Which God to Pray?». The original compositions of the band were first shown at the Pub Azul in February 2020. A participation at the Quebec Rock Contest was abruptly stopped in semi-final by the Covid-19 pandemic. After a lot of work behind the scenes, the Demo EP by Mother Inquisition was released on December 6th 2020 after their presence at Diapazone, a radio show hosted by Pierre Dolbec at CKRL 89,1.
