Mother Mersy has been around since 2015 and has ever since spread the gospel of merciless rock n’ roll. With captivating live performances fueled by raw energy and emotion, the band has been established as a solid rock n’ roll live phenomenon in the Swedish and Danish music scene.
Inspired by bands and artists such as David Bowie, Jeff Buckley and Led Zeppelin (but also more contemporary acts such as Rival Sons, Dirty Honey and Greta Van Fleet), as well as by the dark personal portraits in Stephen King's novels and the powerfully uncompromising participants of Ru Paul's Dragrace. This Malmö based band's music ranges from dirty up-tempo rock n 'roll to melancholic, psychedelic ballads from a place where old school 70's rock meets contemporary rock n' roll. Energetic and soulful, without apologizing.
In April 2025 the band released the fourth single "Mercy" from their upcoming sophomore album, produced by the band's guitarist Emmanuel Benigh Hemmander.
The new single is a bluesy exploration of a complex, intense relationship.
It has a raw and unfiltered rock sound that takes you back to the golden era where the 70’s meets the 80’s. Hard hitting, heavy and a power chorus that makes you wanna move and sing along from the top of your lungs.
