Mother Trudy

Mother Trudy is a high intensity rock and roll band hailing from Oslo, Norway, formed in December 2016. Although their inspirations are from the '70s and '80s, they are not afraid of including a more modern soundscape to their songs. The band consists of Vegar Bredeli Kanck (drums), Nils Alex Rama Engeness (bass), Henrik Antonsson (lead guitar) and Andreas Restad (guitar and vocals).
The band released a four soung EP in 2017 which was followed up by their debut full length LP in April of 2018. Both the EP and LP were praised highly by music magazines and blogs both home and abroad.
The second album, "Volume II", was released during the worldwide pandemic to no particular huff or puff, but the third album "Abyss Road" gained traction after a rigorous marketing and touring bout throughout 2024. The band is continuously evolving their hard hitting sound and if you think you would enjoy Thin Lizzy, Deep Purple, Van Halen, and The Who's love child, you are most definitely going to enjoy this band.
