Born out of the vibrant music scene at The University of Alabama, MOTHER.FUNK was a jam rock band known for their explosive live shows, genre-bending sound, and high-energy chemistry. The band quickly built a following across college towns with their debut album Coastal—a raw, energetic record impressively tracked in just three days in Nashville,TN while still full-time students. Their breakout singles “Yeti” and “Instrument of War” earned them slots alongside acts like DISPATCH, moe., Moon Taxi, The Revivalists, and Wiz Khalifa.
With their EP Long Story Short, MOTHER.FUNK leaned further into their rock 'n' roll roots, delivering standout tracks like “Jacob’s Ladder” and “Rewind.”
